When to use a 2-minute timer
Short timers like 2 minutes are great for breaking inertia. Commit to just 2 minutes of a task — most of the time you'll keep going past the bell.
How to run it
- Pick ONE task. Write it down.
- Open Promodify, set the focus length to 2 minutes.
- Phone in another room. Start the timer.
- When the bell rings, stop. Take a proportional break.
