When to use a 15-minute timer

15 minutes is the sweet spot for shallow-to-medium tasks. Long enough to make progress, short enough that you won't burn out.

How to run it

  1. Pick ONE task. Write it down.
  2. Open Promodify, set the focus length to 15 minutes.
  3. Phone in another room. Start the timer.
  4. When the bell rings, stop. Take a proportional break.
