Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Promodify, a web application available at promodify.app ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Promodify is

Promodify is a personal-productivity timer offering Pomodoro presets, ambient sounds, focus themes, and optional Pro features. It is provided "as is" for personal and professional use.

2. Accounts

You can use most timer features without an account. An account is required for Pro features, progress history, and integrations such as Spotify. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
Do not use the Service to send spam or unlawful content.
Do not attempt to access data that does not belong to you.
Do not resell or rebrand the Service without written permission.

4. Paid plans (Pro)

Promodify Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. If a payment fails or is reversed, Pro features will be deactivated. Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 14 days if Pro features did not work as described.

5. Third-party integrations

The Service can optionally connect to third-party services (for example Spotify, Stripe, or TikTok) on your request. When you connect such a service, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply in addition to ours. You can disconnect any integration at any time.

6. Content you provide

Anything you type into Promodify (session intentions, notes, focus tags) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content back to you so the product can function.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Material changes will be reflected in this document and dated above.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promodify and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Pro in the prior 12 months.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
